Comparison analyses on a comparison assessment can be edited to match your comparison needs.
To edit a comparison analysis:
- On a comparison analysis, click the more options button to open the more options menu.
- Click Edit Analysis Scope to open the comparison analysis overview page.

- Continue below to enable, disable, add, or remove scenarios
Enabling or disabling scenarios already in the scope:Scenarios that are in the analysis scope can be included or excluded by clicking the checkbox to the left of the scenario name.
- Enabled: Checked scenarios are included in the analysis calculation when the analysis is run.
- Disabled: Unchecked scenarios are excluded from the analysis calculation when the analysis is run.
To add a scenario to the scope:
Note: The following information applies to adding scenarios to a comparison assessment from the comparison analysis edit analysis scope page:
- Only scenarios with current versions are displayed in the Add Scenarios to the Analysis table.
- A copy of the scenario is made for, and used in, the comparison analysis. The timeline scenario in the main library is not affected by any changes while working with comparisons.
- After adding a scenario, the timeline scenario remains in the Add Scenarios to the Analysis table.
Use the following process to add a scenario to the scope:
- Use the filters in the Add Scenarios to the Analysis table to filter or search for a specific scenario to add to your scope.
- Click the + plus sign next to a scenario to add a copy of that scenario to the comparison scope.
Note: You can add multiples of the same scenario to the scope, but you cannot change the name of the scenarios.
- The scenario is added to the scope.
To delete a scenario from the scope:
- In a comparison assessment, in the Analysis Scope section, click the X icon next to the scenario that needs to be deleted.
A confirmation displays with information about removing a comparison copy of a scenario. When a comparison scenario is removed from the comparison assessment, it is removed from the system permanently, along with any changes that were made to that comparison copy.
- Click Remove to remove the scenario from the scope or Cancel to leave the scenario in the scope. The scenario is removed if you clicked Remove or left as-is if you clicked Cancel.
